Tom DareExecutive Vice President and General Counsel

Tom Dare, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, is responsible for Healthcare Solutions’ legal affairs, including oversight and negotiation of corporate legal agreements and coordination of regulatory, compliance and corporate governance functions.  Dare is an industry veteran with over 20 years of legal and executive experience in the insurance market.  

Prior to joining Healthcare Solutions, Dare worked as vice president and associate general counsel for CUNA Mutual Group, a leading provider of financial and insurance products and services.  He also spent three years with Broadspire, a Crawford Company, where he held the position of senior vice president and general counsel. Dare began his career at Kemper National Services, the predecessor company to Broadspire, where he served as General Counsel with responsibility for all legal and regulatory affairs. 

Dare sat on the board of directors for URAC from 2000-2006 and served as an adjunct professor for Nova Southeastern University Sheppard Broad Law Center from 2002- 2006. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law where he received a Juris Doctor.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Grinnell College.
